June is Pride Month and we are taking it upon ourselves to share a bit on the biggest pride events from around the globe. June 12th to June 14th is LA Pride (#WEARELAPRIDE) if you’re in the Los Angeles area, it’s going to be an absolute blast. They have a crazy amount of events planned and you know LA has the prettiest girls.
The lineup of Dj’s and musical artists is pretty fucking rad too! It kicks off on day one with Lex, Tosh and Nvida. Day two features: Beauty in the Breakdown, Michael Mercury, Wilson Phillips, Tinashe, Wrabel (who wrote songs for Phillip Phillips and Adam Lambert) and Ke$ha! Be sure to check out all the special guests that will be at the Main Stage.
On top of great music there is also a amazing Roller Disco! The Thunder Ground provides the perfect locale to get your “skate on” and simply have fun. Do I really need to point out how sweet this is? Aren’t we all thinking of Ellen Page in Whip it? I bet you have roller skates on on right now don’t you? Skate rentals are included in ticket costs and you can enjoy it all on Friday from 6pm to 11pm, Saturday from 12pm to 1am and again on Sunday from 11am to 11pm.
You can also check out art exhibits, a raging hip hop stage and a fiery Latino Carnivale. The Latino Carnivale is sure to add some extra spice and you can experience live performances on Saturday the 13th and Sunday June 14th!
Don’t forget the best part of every pride festival though. You can’t miss out on the parade itself! It starts at 11am on Sunday June 14th and will be a dazzling spectacle as usual!
Review the parade route as well as the area map for major events. It starts at Crescent Heights and moves its way over to Robertson Boulevard right where the festival takes place at. The entire event also caters to people with disabilities so nobody gets left behind. It’s a wild party but it’s also a time to remember how far we have all come.
A moment of silence will happen at 12pm (noon) on Sunday June 14 during the pride parade. This is to remember those who have passed away, who are still in our hearts, who couldn’t make it, those who fought for freedom and equality so you could have the chance to celebrate pride.
The sponsors a great too so you know you’re going to be taken care of with Bud Light, Redbull, Tito’s Vodka, Stella Artois, Chipotle, Diet Coke, Whole Foods, Fritos and Disney!
It’s going to be a wild time, let loose, have fun and wear all your rainbow colors. It’s going to be hot and you’re never going to stop moving so be ready for the wild times and sexy people of every gender and sexual orientation.
If you’re going to LA Pride we hope you have a blast! Keep moving forward, keep loving and feel free to be yourself!
