Heather Peace is an English actress, musician and LGBT rights activist from Bradford, England. She has released four albums since 2012, Fairytales (2012), Live at The Jazz Café (2013), The Thin Line (2014) and Live in Brighton (2014). Her parents always encouraged her to pursue her music career and theygave her piano lessons at the age of six years old, and later guitar lesons when she was a teenager. She later landed a role on the television show Emmerdale where she acted from 1996 to 1997.
She went on to perform in a theater production of My Fair Lady playing Eliza Doolittle. She eventually landed a role as a firefighter on a television show called London’s Burning from 1998 until the end of the show in 2002. From 2003 to 2005 she landed parts in multiple minor television series.
In 2005 she landed a role on an action television series called Ultimate Force playing Special Air Service Trooper Becca Gallagher until 2008. She has also landed roles on shows like Coronation Street, Heartbeat and Holby City.
When Peace was 19 years old she had just broke up with her girlfriends and decided to come out as a lesbian to her mother. She is currently in a civil partnership with her longtime partner Ellie and the two are expecting a baby. She is a huge advocate in the LGBT community and loves to celebrate at Manchester Pride and participates in many other LGBT causes and fundraisers.
