Wanda Sykes is one of my absolute favorite comedians! I remember watching her in shows like The Chris Rock Show, The Drew Carey Show, Will & Grace, The New Adventures of Old Christine and The Wanda Sykes Show. It’s hard not to fall in love with her comedic style, she just tells you like it is!

Wanda Sykes is originally from Portsmouth, Virginia and was born on March 7, 1964. She is an American writer, comedian, actress, and voice artist. She married record producer Dave Hall from 1991 and later divorced him in 1998. She met Alex Niedbalski in 2006 and the two began dating. Ten years after her divorce in November 2008 she publicly came out as a lesbian while at a same-sex marriage rally in Las Vegas regarding Proposition 8.One month before she came out she married Alex Niedbalski. They became parents when Alex gave birth on October 25, 2008 to daughter Olivia Lou and son Lucas Claude, a set of fraternal twins.
