When did you first realize you were gay?
I think I always knew, even when I was young I loved hanging out with my girlfriends and thought they were beautiful. It wasn’t until I went to an art school with one of the first GSA that I realized it’s normal and okay. I think it’s important to put that program in every high school.

What advice do you have to people who are struggling to come out?
I think we are surrounded but this idea that we HAVE to come out. If you feel like you could really be in a lot of danger by no means are you required to come out. Remember you can also be selective about who you come out to. Straight people try to be offended by everything, you are not lying to them if you are protecting yourself.

Who is your favorite celebrity female crush?
Megan Fox is perfect but also if Vivien Leigh was still around… I mean she still counts though, right?

Who is your soulmate on OITNB?
Ruby Rose or Poussey… I’m basic.

Name three fears:
Racists, sexists and global warming.

Are you a dog person or a cat person?
I love dogs!

Upon a Burning Body and Volumes.

Are you afraid of anything?
I am afraid of people who hate without real reason.

What movies could you watch over and over and still love?
Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Pretty Woman, An Education, Dead Poet’s Society.

What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to food?
Stuffing! I will eat boxed stuffing for dinner and nothing else.

I don’t remember and no.
