The American hard rock band know as KISS was formed in New York City in January 1973. The band was know for it's elaborate live shows including smoking guitars, levitating drum kits and pyrotechnics. Current members include Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer, Tommy Thayer. Past members include Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Eric Carr, Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John and Bruce Kulick.
