My Story

I’ve recently retired from a job that I loved working for the State. I felt that it’s time to do the things I enjoy and to expand my horizons. But, what I didn’t expect when I retired was the loneliness that often goes with it.
I enjoy all of the typical things that people like to do - walks, the beach, the woods, movies ~ either at a theater or at home, sharing a meal by either going to restaurants or staying in with a home cooked meal. I guess I’m laid back and am not into drama.
I’ve been heterosexual all my life. But my relationships never work out, and I often feel as if I’m competing for who the male is in the relationship. I’m not a stereotype butch. I’m feminine, but I’m confident, competent, and smart.
I’m not necessarily attracted to `males’ or `females’, but more by who the person is and if they are compassionate, not racist or sexist and have sense of humor.
