My Story

I spent the last decade as a military journalist and now I'm a full time student. (Thanks military retirement and education benefits that allow me to just go to class and still make a comfortable living.)
My best friend is a 70-pound one year old mastiff/boxer. I come from a giant family that instilled in me a profound faith, a good appetite and an affinity for politics and football.
I am definitely comfortable in my skin and identify as a lot of things. I'm gay, a Democrat, a veteran, an athlete, a student... the list goes on. But at the top of my list is that I'm a believer in Jesus. And, no, all the things that I am; gay, liberal, pro-military, Christian, are not mutually exclusive and do not contradict each other.
I'm currently raising the greatest puppy who ever walked the earth while working on becoming the next great speech writer and civil rights attorney. I'm a Colorado native and love my state to an almost obnoxious degree.
