My Story

Living with purpose and working towards being the best person I can be is important to me. I like to "be real" and to surround myself with friends and loved ones who believe in the same thing. It seems like the happiest and most well-adjusted people are the ones who are able to adapt well to change and uncertainty- so I try to roll with life as much as possible and learn from it. I love and value my family and friends very much and always try to let them know that. Helping and understanding others is important to me, and I try to do this every day working as a mental health counselor / marriage and family therapist at a low-income clinic in Deming, NM. I plan to find a job through the Health Corps by the spring, so that I can return to the Midwest to be closer to my family. (Ideally near a college town, so I could also start working on a Ph.D.) I think that true, honest, passionate love is real and worth waiting for. I'm a total romantic, and I would like a partner who can be my lover
