My Story

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin, and have always loved the outdoors, liberal arts of any kind, music, comparative spirituality, snooty food and good coffee...ahem, and alcohol so much that I earned a permanent chair in "you know where."

So, I don't drink and haven't for more than 25 years, and have no problem with those who socially indulge.

I am a professional in the writing/communications industry (over 18 years) and an avid DIYer.

I have a 28 year-old son who has been out on this own since the age of 19 and is a successful entrepreneur.

After recently giving up trying to turn a good friendship into a romance, I would like to meet some new women in the area to date.
