My Story

I'm always trying to make things better. Sometimes the best way to make things better is to make them laugh to ease the tension. Other times, I challenge people to see situations in different ways. My head is full of degrees, theories, research, deadlines, NPR, and improvement plans. My roots are humble, honest, working class people. My heart wants to give, connect, and love. Music, sunsets and my son (age 5) ground me back to myself. My job is 90% conceptual. As a result I love to get my hands dirty or do anything that shows me instant results. I love to garden, repair, restore, take something apart, or even just clean. Kindness and laughter are the best medicines ever. I want someone who will ask me what I'm thinking (and feeling), someone who is always thinking on her own, someone who can give me fashion advice, and someone whose idea of a great night together includes a stroll through Target or Ikea - just to look and talk.
